About Station 8 Coffee
Station 8 Coffee is a coffee shop in Houston, Texas. It is listed at 717 Texas Ave, Houston, TX 77002, which places it among the local businesses of Houston that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 7 amβ3 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Station 8 Coffee at (713) 364-9686; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 61 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Houston and suggests consistent service.
Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great place to get Matcha around downtown Houston. This place was pretty good surprisingly, thought it would taste a little bit artificial, but was good yet sweet. I would come back.

Thank you Lilly for the amazing experience in your coffeeshop. I would recommend everyone to come in for a delicious cappuccino and a lovely chat with the best barista. Her latte art is very impressive!!

Itβs a hidden gems of our coffee finds. Itβs very spacious, with plenty of seating, and very quiet as we were the only customers at the moment. It deserves more attention and customers since their matcha were rich and the price is very reasonable / cheap for the quality the shop offers ($5/ matcha latte, like $1 for oat milk). Matcha π΅ were rich, creamy, nutty and delicious β The staffs were top notch; they were extremely friendly, informative and kindhearted.

Station 8 was a bit hard to find as Iβm visiting from out of town. I assumed it would be a store front, but itβs located inside a building called βThe Marketβ. Iβm so glad I didnβt give up my search though! Thereβs tons of seating options here. It would be a great place to catch up a little work while enjoying a fabulous coffee. My latte was delicious! The barista was genuinely so nice and helpful. Everything was super clean and organized. I will definitely go again next time Iβm in downtown Houston!
